About Department
The School of education, Berhampur University came into existence in 2016, the year of Golden Jubilee celebration of Berhampur University to run the B.Ed. programme and to enrich its training programme for facilitating the aspiring students of South Odisha, Mostly the populated tribal areas and other parts of Odisha in general. The School of Education has been accorded its recognition from the Department of Higher Education as well as National Council of Teacher Education from the academic session 2016-2017.The School of education, Berhampur University came into existence in 2016, the year of Golden Jubilee celebration of Berhampur University to run the B.Ed. programme and to enrich its training programme for facilitating the aspiring students of South Odisha, Mostly the populated tribal areas and other parts of Odisha in general. Programme
The programme is of two years duration with intake capacity of 50 students. The admission of students is being done on the NCTE/SCRET guideline observing the reservation policies duly approved by the statutory bodies of this University.

The School of Education ( B.Ed programme) is well equipped with basic infrastructural facilities having Wifi campus and smart classrooms ensuring quality education. It also extends library facilities, the health clinic, sports council and hostel facilities located inside its beautiful campus.

The School of Education conducts study tour( Community work)for partial fulfillment of the study curriculum where the students actively participates to choose a particular area of study in education like the educational behavior of the school going children and the reason behind the drop out cases.
The school organizes seminar, workshops, annual day celebration and many cultural activities in a befitting manner.
